Services
Services are tasks or work you offer your customers—like maintenance, repairs, engineering, or transport.
Add a New Service
- Go to Settings > Inventory > Inventory List.
- Click the Actions button, then select + Add New Service.
3. Fill in the service details:
- Name* – Enter the name of the service.
- SKU – Add the service code.
- Non-Taxable – Check this if the service is not taxed.

- Income Account – Choose the account where sales revenue should go.
- You can scroll or search the list.
- If it’s not listed, type it in—it’ll be saved when you save the service.
- Sales Price/Rate – Enter the price you charge customers.
- Sales Description – Write a short description of the service.

- Expense Account – Choose the account where the service cost should be tracked.
- Same as above—scroll, search, or type it in.
- Cost – Enter how much it costs you to provide the service.
4. Click Save. The service will appear in your Inventory List.
Duplicate Service Warning
If you try to add a service with a name that already exists, you’ll see this message:

What Your Options Mean:
- Yes – A new service will be created using the same name. This will result in multiple services with identical names.
- No – The action will be canceled, and the duplicate service will not be added.
Edit a Service
- Find the service in the Inventory List.
- Click on it to open the details.
- Make your changes and click Save.
🔒 You can’t edit inactive services—reactivate them first if needed.
Deactivate a Service
Use this if you no longer offer the service but want to keep a record.
- In the Inventory List, check the box next to the service.
- Click Actions > Make Inactive.
- Confirm by clicking Yes.
✅ You can select multiple services at once.
Once deactivated, the service moves to the Inactive Inventory List.
Reactivate a Service
- Go to the Inactive Inventory List.
- Check the box next to the service.
- Click Actions > Make Active.
- Confirm by clicking Yes.
The service will return to the active list. You can then edit or update it as needed.
Delete a Service
Only delete services that were added by mistake or are no longer needed permanently.
⚠️ Deleting services may affect past data or reports. Use with caution.
- First, deactivate the service (active services can’t be deleted).
- Go to the Inactive Inventory List.
- Check the box next to the service.
- Click Actions > Delete.
- Confirm by clicking Yes.
The service will be permanently removed.
