Customer Profile: Manage Attachments

In the Attachments tab of a customer’s profile, you can upload and manage files like:

  • Photos
  • Site maps
  • Instruction manuals
  • Contracts or agreements

These attachments can also be made visible to field employees in the IndusTrack mobile app.

Attachment List

The Attachments List shows all the files uploaded for the customer, job, or task. Each file has a link—click it to open the document.

  • Date the file was added
  • Service Location it relates to
  • Job # and Task it’s linked to
  • Uploader’s email
  • File Name (click it to open the file)
  • Notes (if any were added)

Features:

  • Sort: Click the column headers to sort the list.
  • Filter: Use the filter bar to search for files.
  • Clear Filter: Removes any filter you’ve applied.
  • Page Navigation: View 10, 25, 50, or 100 files per page. Use Previous and Next to switch pages.

Uploading a New Attachment

  1. Click the Add New button.
  2. A new window will appear. Fill in the required details (fields marked with *).
  3. Click Choose File to upload your document (max file size: 15 MB).
    You can upload things like:
    • Site maps
    • Manuals
    • Photos
    • Contracts
  4. Add any notes if needed.
  5. To show the file in the mobile app, check the Site Map box.
  6. Click Save. The file will now show in the list.

Note: You can only upload one file per attachment. If you need to upload more, add a separate attachment for each.

Editing an Attachment

  1. Find the attachment you want to update.
  2. Click the 3-dot menu next to it and choose Edit.
  3. Make your changes and Save.

Replacing a File

  • Follow the same steps above.
  • Upload a new file—it will replace the current one.
  • Click Save.

Deleting an Attachment

Only delete attachments that are no longer needed or were added by mistake. Deleting is permanent and may affect related data.

  1. Find the attachment to delete.
  2. Click the 3-dot menu and select Delete.
  3. A confirmation message will appear.
    • Click OK to delete.
    • Click Cancel to keep the file.

Once deleted, the attachment will be removed from the list.
