Go to the Location tab of the Customer’s Profile. Here you will find a listing of all of the customer’s service locations. The billing address (if different from the service address) is not listed here. If you want to add the billing address as a service location too, you will have to add it as one.
The location details that are shown on the listing are the location name, contact person’s name, service address, contact person’s phone number, and email. Sort the list according to the location’s name, contact name, or service location. Just click on the table header to sort the list alphabetically according to the selected header.
Use the Filter Bar to quickly find an address. This is especially useful if your client has multiple Service Locations. Use the Clear Filter button to remove the filter settings.
Select the number of service locations to be displayed per page. Options to choose from are 5, 10, 20, and 50. Use the Previous and Next buttons to move from one page to another (if there is more than one page).
Add a Service Location
Clients may have multiple Service Locations. When added to one profile, all these service locations will have only one Billing Address. Keep the records of all of the Service Locations of your client in one location. This makes scheduling and invoicing a lot simpler and easier.
The client’s main Service Location is the one added to their profile. To add another service location for the customer, click Add New from the Location tab.
Add/Update the details on the Add New Service Location page. Fields with * are required ones.
- Location Name – This refers to the name of the building/structure/fairground where the additional service location is set up in.
- First & Last Names – Refers to the name of the contact person at the Service Location.
- Tax rate – Refers to the applicable tax rate at the Service Location. May or may not be the same as the main Service Location.
- Unit Number
Once done, validate the address.
The Latitude and Longitude will autofill. Save the new service location.
The new service location will be added to the list.
Update a Service Location
Main Service Location
To update the client’s main Service Location, go to the Edit Contact button to open their profile in edit mode.
Update the main Service Location as needed. Once done, validate the address and Save the changes.
Additional Service Locations
Find the Service Location to be updated from the list. Click the 3-dot menu to its right and select Edit.
Update the Service Location details at the edit page. Once done, validate the address and Save the changes.
Delete a Service Location
Delete a Customer’s Service Location that is no longer associated with your client or was created in error. It is wise to exercise caution when using this function. Deleting a client’s Service Location may have an effect on other functions, settings, or data. This action can not be undone.
The client’s main Service Location can not be deleted. If needed, update or change this from the client’s profile.
The additional Service Locations, however, can be deleted. Find the one to be deleted from the list. Click the 3-dot menu to its right and select Delete.
From the Delete Confirmation window that will come up, select Yes to continue with the deletion. Select No to abandon the action.
The Service Location will be removed from the list.
