Expenses Report
Expenses reports are essential tools for managing cash flow, assessing financial health, and making informed business decisions. All the reports included here are essential elements of a company’s financial management.
To access Expenses Report, click on the REPORTS Module> on the left-hand side and click on Expenses.
A drop-down option will show its subcategories for the reports you want to see:
- Bill Payment List
- Bills Aging Summary
- Unpaid Bills
Bill Payment List
A Bill Payment List Report outlines all the bills that have been paid during a specific period.
To access the Bill Payment List, navigate to the REPORTS module on the left-hand side, then select Expenses from the dropdown, and click on Bill Payment List.
This report helps individuals or businesses track their expenses, manage cash flow, and prepare for budgeting or financial planning. It can also be useful for accounting purposes, tax preparation, and monitoring spending habits.
Here’s what you can find in such a report:
- Payment Type/Method – How the payment was made (e.g., credit card, cash, check).
- Vendor – The name of the vendor to whom the payment was made.
- Date/Payment Date: When each bill was paid.
- Number – Transaction # (check #, receipt # or cc reference #).
- Amount: The total amount paid for each bill.
Generate Bill Payment Report
You can filter the report by the following:
- Date/s – specific date of the report
- Select the start date and end date
- After you select the start and end date, click on Get Report.
- Alternatively, you can also select a period rather than selecting a specific date:
- Yesterday | Today | last Week | This Week | Last Month | This Month
Once the report is generated, The Bill Payment List Report displays a summary of all payments made toward bills, including details such as payment dates, vendors, amounts, and payment methods.
Drag and drop any column header to sort out the report.
After generating the report, you have the option to export the Bill Payment List Report into Excel or PDF format by clicking on the Actions Button.

- Export to Excel
- Configure Report Columns
- Add to Favorites
Export Report
- Click on export to Excel or export to PDF to download the report to your computer. Either way, you can completely see the details in the report.
Configure Report Columns
Enable or disable the columns on this report if you want to see them or not. When disabling the column/s, once you generate this report that specific column will be removed.
Uncheck any columns you wish to exclude from the report and click SAVE after making your adjustments.
Add to Favorites
If you frequently use this report, you can select it and add it to Favorites.
Once you add a report to Favorites, a Favorites tab will appear at the top right of the left panel. All reports marked as favorites will be displayed in the top panel for easy access.
Bills Aging Summary Report
To access the Bills Aging Summary List, navigate to the REPORTS module on the left-hand side, then select Expenses from the dropdown, and click on Bills Aging Summary List.
Generate Aging Summary Report
- Select Date – Select Period Ending Date.
- After selecting a Date, click on Get Report.
The Bills Aging Summary Report summarizes and totals vendors’ bills by age, easily allowing you to see how much you owe each vendor and how much total cash you would need to catch up on all invoices. The aging method typically used is broken into 30-day windows:
- “current”, or not late bills
- bills 0-30 days late
- bills 31-60 days late
- bills 61-90 days late, and
- bills 90+ days late.
- Total – Total Amount owed.
Unpaid Bills Report
This report helps businesses keep track of their liabilities and manage cash flow, ensuring that they stay on top of their obligations and avoid penalties or disruptions to services due to unpaid bills.
To access the Unpaid Bills Report, navigate to the REPORTS module on the left-hand side, select Expenses from the dropdown, and click Unpaid Bills.
The unpaid bills report provides a summary of outstanding bills that have not yet been paid. In this report, you will find key details such as:
- Vendor – The name of the vendor to whom the payment is owed.
- Date – The date the bill was created.
- Due Date – The bill’s due date is determined by the applied terms.
- Past Due – The number of days the bill has exceeded its due date as of now.
- Amount – Total amount due on the bill.
- Open Balance – Total amount minus all payments made.
Generate Unpaid Bills Report
- Select Date – Select Start and End Date.
- After selecting Dates, click on Get Report.
