Import Inventory Part
Pre-Conditions:
- Use the correct template. Only use the Inventory Part Import Template.
- Required fields: At minimum, you must include Name* and Quantity*.
- No duplicates: Duplicate records will still be imported as separate entries.
- Check your data: Invalid or incomplete data (bad data) may cause the import to fail.
- Remove headers: Delete the column names (headers) before importing. Keeping them may cause errors.
INVENTORY PART IMPORT TEMPLATE
The following columns are required:
- Name*
- SKU
- Sales Description
- Sale Price
- Cost
- QTY*
- Vendor
- Purchasing Description
- Reorder Point

How to Import Inventory Part
- Go to Import Page
- Navigate to:
Settings > Integrations > Import List > ACTIONS > Import Inventory Part
- Navigate to:

2. Upload Your File
- On the Import List page, click ACTIONS > Import Inventory Part.
- A window will pop up.
- Select your Timezone.
- Click Upload and choose your Excel file.

3. Map the Columns
- Match the fields in your file with the correct columns in IndusTrack.
- Click Save.

4. Check Upload Status
- Once uploaded, the status should show COMPLETE.
- If your file has many rows, this may take a few minutes.
- Click the three dots next to the status and select Details.

5. Confirm Successful Import
- Check if all rows were imported.
The Total Rows and Successful Rows should be the same.

6. Verify Your Data
- Go to
Settings > Inventory > Inventory List. - Spot-check to confirm the data was imported correctly.
If the Import Fails
- Rows with errors will not be uploaded.
- You’ll see a difference between Total Rows and Successful Rows.
- Click Details to view:
- The line number with the issue
- The content of that row
- A description of the error
You can export the error report to Excel.

Fix and Re-Import
- Open your file, review the error lines, and remove or correct the bad data.
- Save your changes.
- Re-import the updated file following the same steps.
