Inventory Markups

If your business sells products or uses a lot of supplies, setting up automatic inventory pricing helps keep things consistent and saves time.

IndusTrack lets you set up automatic markup percentages for different inventory types. This means the system will automatically calculate a selling price for each item using the markup you set.

How to Set Up Inventory Markups

1. Go to:
   Settings > Inventory > Markups
2. Choose an Inventory Type:
   There are 5 inventory types. Click one to open its markup settings.
3. Enter a Markup Percentage:
   In the popup window, type the percentage markup you want for that inventory type.
4. Save Your Changes:
   When you click Save, a warning will appear telling you that this markup will apply to all items in that inventory type.
   Click Yes to confirm.
5. Repeat for Other Types (Optional):
   If needed, repeat the steps above for the other inventory types.

How It Works

• IndusTrack will automatically calculate the Sales Price for each item using the markup you set.
• If you add a new item without a selling price, it will auto-calculate using this markup.
• You can manually change the price later if needed.
