Invoicing using Flat Rate
If your Flat Rate Pricebook is enabled, you can add those Flat Rate items to your invoice.
Adding Invoice
From the Invoice page, tap on the Add / + (plus) button at the top right of the screen.
After tapping the + or Add, you will be directed to a list of existing customers. Select the existing customer from the list or use the search bar. If you are creating an Invoice for a new customer, tap on the plus icon to create a new customer.
After selecting a customer, if the customer has multiple service locations it will redirect you to the list of all service locations. Select one and it will proceed.
Give the invoice a description, and click the arrow icon to proceed.
Add Flat Rate Items to the Invoice
To add flat rate item/s, tap on the Add Item.
After tapping on the Add Item, it will direct you to the Pricebook Category list.
From here, there are two options, either you go through each of these categories and its subcategories to get to the flat rate items, or you can tap on the List Items.
By tapping on the List Items, it will show you all flat-rate items regardless of their categories.
For now, let’s tap on List Items.
List Items – this will show you the list of all flat-rate items with their conditions, Prices, and Member Prices.
Price – Total price of the flat rate.
Member Price – Discounted price.
Tap on the flat rate item that you want to add to the Invoice.
The Full detailed information of the item will open up.
Toggle on the button on the right side to add the flat rate item to the Invoice.
Now that the flat rate item has been added to the Invoice, you can adjust the quantity and the price.
If you need to add more items, tap on Add item.
When you are ready to proceed, tap the arrow icon at the top.
Once the required flat rate items have been selected, you’ll be directed to the Invoice Preview screen with the details of the part and prices.
If you need to add more items, just tap the Item button and add more items to the Invoice.
Add tax or discount, it will give you the option to add tax or discount in percentage value or monetary value.
Notes – Type in Notes for Customer.
Save the Invoice by clicking on the check icon on the top right.
Pay Invoice – This will give you the option to pay the invoice via Cash, Credit Card, or Check.
Sign
Click on the sign button to have the customer sign the Invoice.
Sign
Tap Clear if they need to remove the signature. Hit Save to finalize the signature.
Mail Invoice
Tap on the envelope icon to Mail the invoice.
After tapping on the envelope icon, it will generate a PDF invoice. You can edit the email body and send it to the customer.
Hit the Check icon on the top right to save the Invoice.
Save Invoice
After we save the invoice, the invoice will be seen in the Invoice List.
More Options
On the Invoice list, select an invoice and swipe left to view more options.
From the Invoice List, you will also have the option to have the Invoice Signed.
Copy – Invoice information will be copied and you will be prompted to select a customer to whom the estimate will be assigned.
More Options
More Option – There are two choices when clicking on more options, this will allow you to mail the invoice from the List or delete the invoice selected.
