Manage Vehicles

You can create, update, deactivate, reactivate, or delete vehicle profiles in the Vehicle Tracking settings.

Update a Vehicle

1. Go to the list of vehicles.
2. Click the three-dot menu next to the vehicle you want to update.
3. Select Edit.
4. Make the necessary changes, then click Save.

⚠️ You can’t edit deactivated vehicles. Reactivate them first if needed.

Deactivate a Vehicle

Deactivate a vehicle if it won’t be used for a while. This keeps the profile for future use without deleting it.

To deactivate a single vehicle:

1. Click the three-dot menu next to the vehicle.
2. Select Make Inactive.
3. Click Yes to confirm.

To deactivate multiple vehicles:

1. Check the boxes next to the vehicles you want to deactivate.
2. Or, check the box at the top (Name header) to select all.
3. Click the Actions button and select Make Inactive.

🔄 If a tracking device is assigned to the vehicle, it will be removed automatically during deactivation.

The vehicle will now appear in the Inactive Vehicles list.

Reactivate a Vehicle

1. Go to the Inactive Vehicles list.
2. Click the three-dot menu next to the vehicle.
3. Select Restore.
4. Click Yes to confirm.

✅ Once restored, the vehicle will move back to the Active Vehicles list.
✏️ Don’t forget to review and update the profile if needed.

Delete a Vehicle

Only delete a vehicle if it’s no longer needed or was added by mistake.

⚠️ You cannot delete a vehicle that is still active. Deactivate it first.

To delete:

1. Go to the Inactive Vehicles list.
2. Click the three-dot menu next to the vehicle.
3. Select Delete.
4. Click Yes to confirm.

🗑️ This permanently removes the vehicle from the system.
