The live map view removes guesswork and uncertainty, making it easier to manage technician travel, scheduling, and customer inquiries.
How It Works:
- Real-Time Location: The map shows the precise location of each technician and vehicle. This all-in-one view simplifies progress tracking, reduces mistakes, and minimizes delays.
- Instant Updates for Customers: When a customer calls, you’ll have accurate information on when their technician will arrive.
- Complete Technician Info: View technician and service staff locations, job plans, and other real-time details.
- Traffic and Travel Insights: Stay informed on traffic flow and travel times for quicker response times. You can also keep customers updated on any schedule changes as they happen.
Getting Started with the Map
- Accessing the Map: The Map can be set as your default screen in Indus Track. If not, you can access it by selecting Map in the Module Header. If the Map option is unavailable or grayed out, it may be due to access permissions.
- Permissions: If you’re unable to access the Map, you may need “View” permissions for the module. Contact your system administrator if you need assistance.
