Markups and Membership Discounts
The markups and discounts set up here will only affect PriceBook assemblies. Markup is the difference between the selling price and cost of the assembly. It is often expressed as a percentage over the cost. Markup can be expressed as a fixed amount or as a percentage of the total cost or selling price.
To access the Markups and Membership Discount page, go to Settings > PriceBooks > Markups.
How to Set up Markup and Discount
Mark up and discount is in percentage value. Markups are the percentages above the normal or regular price for items. On the other hand, discount value should not be higher than the markup value.
- On the Markups and Discount Page, input the percentage value for assembly mark up and discount.
After we set up the percentage of the mark up and discount, click SAVE.
2. Once we save it, the mark up and discount will automatically apply to all of the assemblies already created or future assemblies you will create found in the Flat Rate Pricebook tab.
You will be able to see the difference between the Price with Mark up and the Price with Markup – Discount.
