Project Management Report
The Project Management Report provides a comprehensive financial overview of each project, including estimated costs, actual job costs, invoiced revenue, and profit margins. For the report to show accurate and meaningful data, all related project records must be properly set up and connected. This includes creating an estimate with inventory items, converting it into a job, assigning and dispatching the job, and completing it through the STM mobile app. Once the job is synced and approved for invoicing, it should be converted into an invoice. All related records—such as the estimate, job, purchase order, and invoice—must then be linked to the project. The report will only display values in the Estimated Cost, Job Cost, Revenue, and Profit columns once these processes are completed.
Profit Calculations:
- Estimated Profit = Revenue (Invoice) – Estimated Cost
This shows the expected profit based on the original cost estimate. - Actual Profit = Revenue (Invoice) – Job Cost
This shows the real profit after the job is completed and actual costs are known.
