Add and Manage Vehicle Alerts
You can set up alerts to monitor vehicle activities—such as speeding or idling—and receive notifications when they happen.
Access Vehicle Alerts
Go to Settings > Vehicle Tracking > Alerts to create or manage alerts.

Create a New Vehicle Alert
- Click + Add New.
- Fill in the required fields (*) in the Add/Edit Alert window.
General Settings
- Description*: Give your alert a short, clear name.
- Alert Type*: Choose the alert type from the dropdown (e.g., Speed, Idle). Note: Additional fields may appear depending on the type selected.
Advanced Settings
Set Time Range
Choose when the alert is active during the day.
- You can manually type the time or click the clock icon to use the time picker.
- Set both a start and end time (with AM/PM format).
Set Days of the Week
Choose which days the alert should work.
- Select only weekdays, only weekends, or both.
Alert Color
Pick a color for this alert. When triggered, it will show on the map alert window using this color.
If no color is set, white will be used by default.
Activate the Alert
Make sure the Active box is checked. If it’s not checked, the alert won’t work.
Set Notification Rules
In addition to the alert appearing on the Alert Window of the map, you can choose who gets notified when the alert is triggered:
- Send Email: Select email addresses to notify.
- Send Text: Select phone numbers for SMS alerts.
Apply Alert to Vehicles
You can apply an alert to all, some, or individual vehicles:
- Use the checkboxes to select vehicles from the list.
- Use the Filter bar to search by vehicle name or ID.
To select all vehicles, tick the checkbox next to “Vehicle.”
Click Save to add the alert to your list.
Edit an Alert
- Find the alert in the list.
- Click the 3-dot menu on the right.
- Select Edit and update the details.
- Click Save.
Turn Alerts On or Off
You can activate or deactivate alerts without deleting them.
- Turn On: Click the 3-dot menu > Turn On Status updates to ON / Active
- Turn Off: Click the 3-dot menu > Turn Off Status updates to OFF / Inactive
Delete Alerts
Only delete alerts if they’re no longer needed. Be cautious—this may affect other settings or data.
Delete a Single Alert
- Click the 3-dot menu next to the alert.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm when the warning message appears.
Delete Multiple Alerts
- Check the boxes next to the alerts you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button.
- Confirm when prompted.
Delete All Alerts
- Check the box next to the Name column header to select all.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion in the warning window.
