How to Sync the mobile app.
If your IndusTrack mobile app isn’t syncing properly with the office system, follow these simple steps to troubleshoot the issue.
🔄 Common Reasons Why the App Isn’t Syncing
- The app hasn’t been synced manually.
- The app is not updated to the latest version.
- Your phone may be low on memory.
- Certain settings may be preventing background sync.
🚨 Important Things to Know About Syncing
- Syncing stops if you close the app and lock your screen.
- If the app is open when you lock your screen, it will sync once you unlock your phone.
- If you clear the app from recent apps, syncing stops.
- Background syncing will not function if the job details screen is open, even if the phone is idle or locked.
- Images sync last — a notification will show how many images are still pending.
- Any changes made in OneTrack settings will reflect in IndusTrack mobile on full sync.
📶 Check Your Wi-Fi Sync Setting
If images aren’t syncing while using mobile data, check this setting:
- Go to Settings > Mobile App
- Under General, find “Sync Images only on Wi-Fi”
- If your team uses mobile data, turn this setting OFF to allow syncing without Wi-Fi.

✅ Step 1: Check When the App Last Synced
- On the Dashboard — Just below your name.
⚠️ Note: If syncing is interrupted mid-way, the office system might show a newer sync time even if the mobile app didn’t fully finish uploading.

🔄 Step 2: Make Sure the App is Updated
- If there’s a new version available, you’ll see a notice in the app. Tap it to update.
- Or go directly to the App Store / Play Store, search for IndusTrack, and tap Update.

🔃 Step 3: Understand the Types of Sync
There are 2 ways to sync the mobile app:
- Manual Sync
Tap the sync icon (circular arrows) on the top-right of the dashboard to push data to the server anytime. - Full Sync
- Gets the latest data from the server.
- Overwrites everything on your device.
- A warning will appear — tap Yes to proceed.

Sync Button Added to SnowTrack
You can now manually sync data in the SnowTrack module using the new Sync button.
✅ Tap the Sync button to update the latest information between your device and the server.
This helps ensure all job and timesheet data is up to date, especially if changes were made while offline.
